Overview

Mr. Fan Wenzhong currently serves as the Vice President of the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences. He also holds concurrent positions as a Special Term Professor and Guest Professor at Fudan University, Tsinghua University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Previously, Mr. Fan served as Chairman of Beijing Financial Holdings Group, Director-General of the International Department at the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), and Deputy Director of both the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Development and Reform Commission of Chongqing Municipality. He possessed extensive work experience in both national and local government departments, as well as domestic and international financial institutions. He also served as a Standing Committee Member of the 12th All-China Youth Federation and Vice Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the 14th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Mr. Fan Wenzhong earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and M.A. & B.A. in International Finance at Fudan University.
