Overview

Mingchun Sun, Special-Term Professor of Practice in Finance at International School of Finance, Fudan University, Chief Economist of Haitong International.

Dr. Sun also serves as Vice Chairman of Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong, a member of China Finance 40 Forum, an independent and non-executive director of WeiMob Inc. and Great Wall Pan Asia Holdings Limited. He has rich and diverse working experiences in central banking, commercial banking, investment banking and asset management businesses. Dr.Sun's research interests include macro-economy and policy-making, corporate strategy, asset management, and network economics.

Dr. Sun obtained his doctorate degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and his bachelor's degree in international economics from Fudan University. Previously, he served as a managing director, Chief China/Asia Economist and head of China Equity Research at Lehman Brothers, Nomura, and Daiwa Capital Markets. He also worked as an economist at China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
