Overview

Dr.Hong Lan (with She Nationality, an ancient Chinese ethnic group) is Deputy Director of Eco-Finance Research Center, professor of Environmental Economics and Management at School of Environmental Sciences as well as a Ph.D. supervisor at Renmin University.

From 2006 to 2007, she served as a Senior Technical Advisor in the Sustainable Financial Action Team of UNEP (United Nations Environment Program). From 2007 to 2010, she worked as a Technical advisor to the Green Finance and Equatorial Principles Promotion Project at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and as a visiting fellow at New York University from 2010 to present. To be mentioned, she has published more than 50 papers in core journals such as The Quarterly Journal of Economics and The Economist, etc. Many of her papers were reprinted by journals like Social Science Digest, The Theory and Practice in Socialist Economics (Copied Materials by Renmin University). She has also presided over and participated in a variety of international, national and provincial research projects. What’s more, she has written many monographs such as Economics of Environmental Property Right and participated in the compilation of several university textbooks.
