Xiaobin Jin, Professor of Finance（Practice-Track）at Fanhai International School of Finance, Fudan University.
Dr. Jin was the Chairman of Haitong New Energy Private Equity Management Co. Ltd. He was also Vice President of Haitong Securities. Additionally, he has served in a number of executive roles at Haitong Securities throughout his career that include: Secretary of the Board of Directors of Haitong Securities Limited company, Co-secretary of Haitong’s Hong Kong listed Subsidiary, Director of Haitong Securities Research Institute, and Chairman of Haitong Jihe Investment Fund Management Company. Dr. Jin was an executive director at A-JEX Investment of Hong Kong Limited, and was a Responsible Officer of Hong Kong and hold of 1,4,9 securities license.
His research interests include Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Merges and Acquisitions, Financial Securities Investment Analysis, Enterprise Value Management, Equity Investment, Asset Management. He published 8 books which related to Securities Investments and Corporate Governance, such as Theory of Banking Merges and Acquisitions. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals, such as Social Science in China, Economic Research Journal, Journals of China Finance and Journal of China Securities, etc.
Dr. Jin’s awards and recognitions include the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences “Jiang Yiwei Enterprise Reform and Development” outstanding academic book prize and the Shanghai philosophy and Social Science outstanding achievement award. Additionally, Dr. Jin has been recognized as the “Ten Shanghai Outstanding Pacesetter”, “The Most Influential Securities Analyst” by the World Financial Lab, and a “Gold Securities Analyst” by the publication New Fortune. He owned an honor of “Gold Chairman of board Assistant” from Chinese listed companies. He also received an honor of Hall of Fame by New Fortune.
Dr. Jin earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Fudan University, he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
