Overview

Xiaohong Zhang is the Guest Professor  at International School of Finance, Fudan University. He is also the President and Professor of Wenzhou Business College, Director, Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor of the China Institute for Financial Studies at Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, Ph.D. Supervisor at the Zhejiang Advanced Institute of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, an Economics Degree Dissertation Review Expert for the Ministry of Education and the Chairman of the China Listed Companies Forum.

Dr. Zhang's research focuses on macro-financial regulation, multi-tiered capital markets and enterprise listing, entrepreneurial finance, and the application of technologies such as big data and blockchain in financial risk management. He has published multiple monographs, including "Thirty Questions on Market Economy", "Finance and the Chinese Economy, "Mergers and Acquisitions and Restructuring of Enterprises", and "The Roadmap to a Successful IPO for Chinese Companies". In addition, Dr. Zhang frequently contributes articles and academic papers to various professional journals and media outlets, such as "The Governance Mechanism of Classified Listed Companies Helps Improve the Resource Allocation of the Securities Market" and "The Obligations of Directors in Listed Companies and Their Governance", among over thirty other works. Furthermore, more than thirty of Dr. Zhang’s articles and recommendations have received affirmative comments from national and provincial leaders.

Dr. Zhang holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, a Master’s and Ph.D. in Law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, and was a visiting scholar at the Finance Department of Columbia Business School, Columbia University.
