Hulai Zhang, Assistant Professor of Finance at the International School of Finance, Fudan University.

Professor Zhang’s research is mainly on empirical corporate finance, sustainable finance, and the application of structural estimation in finance. His papers were accepted for presentation at top finance conferences such as American Finance Association (AFA) Annual Meeting, China International Conference in Finance (CICF), Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (ABFER) Annual Conference, and SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific Annual Conference. His paper was awarded the 2021 CICF best paper award.

Professor Zhang earns his Ph.D. in Finance through the joint program at Tilburg University and ESCP. He received his M.Phil in Finance from Tilburg University in 2021, M.S. in Economics from London School of Economics in 2017, and B.S. in Geology and Economics from Peking University in 2016.
