Overview

Hua He, Special-Term Professor of Practice in Finance at the International School of Finance, Fudan University.

Dr. He teaches “Global Asset Allocation” and “Fixed-Income Markets and Investment”. His research interests include asset pricing, asset allocation, general equilibrium theory, continuous-time finance, and derivatives pricing/risk measurement.

Dr. He is the Founder of Shanghai Nine Martingale Investment Management, L.P. and Shanghai 9M Technology Limited. Before founding these two companies, Dr. He served as President at Capula Investment Management Asia Limited in Hong Kong, and as Executive Chairman of the Capital Markets Committee in China International Capital Corporation (CICC). Prior to joining CICC, Dr. He was in Nomura International (Hong Kong)/ Lehman Brothers for 10 years having held the position of Head of Fixed Income Research (Asia) and Head of Equity Research (Asia). Earlier, Dr. He held senior positions as Managing Director at Convergence Asset Management LLC and Salomon Brothers.

Dr. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a PhD degree in Finance, and previously held tenured faculty positions at UC Berkeley and Yale University.
