Professor Lei Zhu

“Female idols” in Students’ Eyes

“She could live on her beauty but instead choose to live on her talent!” I couldn’t help thinking this when I first met Professor Lei Zhu. Gradually, I found she stood out not only in professional knowledge, but more in constant life pursuit and sensible life wisdom. She is a teacher to teach us knowledge, and even more a guide to mentor in our life.

Student Zhao

In the class, she is our academic mentor, teaching and admonishing with patience, leading students to probe into the field of financial accounting and understand the “techniques” and “art” in it; Out of class, she is our spiritual guru, takes us to explore beauty and discover beauty, tells us how to solve family, career and life problems with scientific, living and modern meditation.

Student Wei

A teacher is one who could propagate the doctrine, impart professional knowledge and resolve doubts. Professor Lei Zhu does much more than teaching us professional knowledge of financial accounting. More importantly, she is our life mentor, helping us resolve life puzzles and adjust our inner unease and anxiety so that we can deal with the outer world in a more peaceful way.

“Female idols” in Students’ Eyes

I remember a case Professor Qiusha Peng explained in her Valuation class. It made me envision swimming freely in the numerical ocean. When talking about Tesla and Boeing, she turned these abstract financial figures into a product, a strategy or a decision, which is fascinating. As she once said, “Valuation is not pricing.” She taught us the complete set of valuation system, a dimension to speculate upon problems. This system is also applicable in learning other courses afterwards.

Student Ruan

Professor Qiusha Peng is an amiable teacher, but conversely, she is extremely strict with academic research. She often shares her unique and penetrating opinions in her own academic field, and gives practically constructive and academically enlightening advice. As my paper tutor, she always patiently listens to my questions and confusions encountered in my paper research, and provides detailed suggestions and guidance in time. It’s lucky for me to have met Professor Peng! In a few days it will be the Women’s Days. I’d like to wish her a happy festival!

Teaching Subject in FISF FMBA PT+: Behavioral Finance

Professor Chunliu Yang

“Female idols” in Students’ Eyes

In her class, Professor Chunliu Yang presents vivid explanation, gives detailed example cases, and integrates theories with practice. Particularly in the session of actual transaction simulation, she leads us to a more profound understanding of the non-rational behaviors conducted by suckers in investment transactions. She taught us to look further and think more sensibly.

In her tutoring, Professor Yang is rigorous about academic research, and she is also patient and considerate. When deadlines approach, she will cheer us up in our WeChat group to offer encouragement and supervise our progress, helping us concentrate on paper research.

I feel greatly honored to be given the chance to take Professor Chunliu Yang’s Behavioral Finance, not to mention being one of her students! Wishing our beautiful professor happy Women’s Day!

Student Liu

In many people’s eyes, professors in finance are always rigorous and rational, while female scholars are perceptual and soft. These two natures, though seemingly impossible to go with each other, are harmoniously seen in Professor Chunliu Yang. All who have taken her Behavioral Finance course must have been impressed by her words that are both tender breeze-like but firm and incisive. This beautiful professor curates topics from limited arbitrage to the prospect theory, presenting a unique view that is quite different from traditional finance.

Student Zhou

By using various classroom experiments and empirical cases, Professor Chunliu Yang can easily dissolve those abstruse and difficult theories in Behavioral Finance. Her sharing of the research findings in frontier domains is a benefit to us.
