Recently, the evaluation committee of the Shanghai Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences has declared the list of winners of the 16th Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences. Huasheng Gao, Deputy Dean of FISF and Professor in Finance, Chang Ma, Associate Professor in Finance, Wenbin Wu, Associate Professor in Finance, Xiaxin Wang, Associate Professor in Economics, and Yifan Zhou, Assistant Professor in Finance, were announced winners of the award!

Professor Huasheng Gao’s paper, entitled Human Capital Driven Acquisition: Evidence from the Inevitable Disclosure Doctrine, won the 16th Shanghai Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences - the Outstanding Disciplinary Academic Achievement Award, as the first prize.

Professor Chang Ma’s paper, entitled Financial Stability, Growth and Macroprudential Policy, Professor Wenbin Wu’s paper, entitled A Unified Measure of Fed Monetary Policy Shocks, Professor Xiaxin Wang’s paper, entitled Understanding the Elasticity of Taxable Income: A Tale of Two Approaches, and Professor Yifan Zhou’s paper, entitled Surprise election for Trump connections, all won the 16th Shanghai Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences - the Outstanding Disciplinary Academic Achievement Award, as the second prize.
