Ethnic Culture Work Team of Yunnan Lancang Lahu Autonomous County Presenting a Gift of a Special Performance for the 120^th Anniversary of Fudan University

Colorful Yunan Blooming at Fudan University, Shanghai and Yunnan Celebrating the 120^th Anniversary Together Hand in Hand

Upon the 120^th anniversary of Fudan Anniversary, the Ethnic Culture Work Team of Yunnan Lancang Lahu Autonomous County travelled thousands of miles to Fudan University, Shanghai with “greetings from the Lahu Nationality”.

For a long time, with a solid bridge built by the east-west collaboration mechanism, Huangpu District, Shanghai Municipality and Langcang County have developed a profound partnership for counterpart assistance across the long distance of mountains and seas, and shared new development achievements, jointly composing a touching symphony eulogizing Shanghai-Yunnan collaboration. FISF, one of the first-batch member units of Binjiang Party Construction · Financial Bund, specially invited the Ethnic Culture Work Team of Yunnan Lancang Lahu Autonomous County to visit Fudan University with its full-bodied ethic customs and present a special performance to celebrate the 120^th anniversary of Fudan University!

This time, Fudan will witness the blossom and fruitful results of party building at the border. The performance, themed around “party building as the lead and culture as the bond”, will vividly demonstrate the in-depth integration of “Binjiang party building” and “border party building”, serving as both a sincere gift from the Lahu Nationality for the 120^th anniversary of Fudan and a manifestation of the substantial achievements of university-local government cooperation and east-west collaboration under the guidance of party building.

The literary team rooted at the border once put on classical works like Swinging Dance and Singing in Joy and The Lahu Epiphany and engraved the magnificent picture of colorful Yunnan with songs and dances - the lusheng dance of Lahu Nationality, the wooden drum ritual beats of Wa Nationality, the peacock dance of Dai Nationality and so on...Multiculturalism blends right here, unveiling a brilliant chapter of the Chinese nations “closely bonded as one family”.
