“China Capital Market Research Network” Officially Launched, FISF Dean Jun Qian Publishes Signed Article Focusing on High-quality Development of Capital Market | Heavyweight

On October 31, 2025, the official website “China Capital Market Research Network” was launched by China Capital Market Society. Jun Qian published a signed article, titled “Contributing to High-Quality Development of the Capital Market: enhancing institutional inclusiveness, improving corporate governance, and increasing investor returns”, which explored the major tasks in the current construction of China’s financial system, evaluated the medium- and long-term performances of A-share listed companies, and proposing corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.

Founded in June 2025, China Capital Market Society is a national, academic and non-profit social organization under the supervision of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Aiming to build a high-end think tank platform dedicated to capital market theoretical research, academic exchange, and policy advisory, it has extensively recruited institutional and expert members from relevant fields of capital market research and has established an Academic Committee and specialized Professional Committees.

According to the official website, Yang Li, Member of the Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Chairman of the National Institution for Finance & Development, is selected as the Chairperson of the Academic Committee, with Jun Qian, Executive Dean of FISF and Professor in Finance, as the Deputy Chairperson, together with the other three deputy chairpersons, respectively being: Wei Jiang, Member of FISF International Advisory Committee, Chair Professor at Emory University School of Business and Vice President of American Finance Association, Liming Wang, Vice President of the China Law Society, President of the Civil Law Research Society of the China Law Society, and Member-Convener of the Law Discipline Review Group under the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, and Qing Wang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC SWUFE Committee, Vice President of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and Dean of the SWUFE Institute of Xi Jinping Economic Thought.

Besides, Wensheng Peng, FISF Distinguished Professor of Practice in Finance, and Jianguang Shen, FISF Visiting Professor in Finance, and others were also included as members of the Academic Committee.
