Møller Institute, Cambridge Visits Fudan International School of Finance to Explore New Pathways for International Business Education Cooperation | EE

On March 12^th 2026, a delegation from the Møller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, led by Director Michael Cresswell and Jeffy Li, visited Fudan International School of Finance, engaging in in-depth discussions with FISF representatives including Guannan Wang, Director of the FISF Academic Center and Director of CUHK-Fudan DBA Program, and Weifeng Xu, Director of FISF Executive Education. The two sides exchanged views on institutional development, strategic layout and international collaboration, laying new groundwork for East-West business education integration and for collaborative innovation in executive education.

As a world-class leadership development institution, the Møller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, has nearly 30 years of experience in advancing both organizational and individual growth. Recently, its strategic focus has shifted toward applied leadership cultivation and global innovation practice. By deeply integrating theoretical instruction with real-world business cases and simulation environments and leveraging the expertise of the top scholars at Cambridge as well as industry leaders, it delivers customized programs in leadership, strategy and innovation. At the same time, the Møller Institute has continuously expanded its global partnership network, placing a strong emphasis on collaboration with leading business schools across different regions and promoted the integration of the leadership education localization and internationalization. Through these efforts, it will equip future leaders—from both the public and private sectors—to navigate increasingly complex business environments worldwide.

During the meeting, Guannan Wang reviewed the positive experiences of past collaborations between FISF EE Program and the Møller Institute. She systematically introduced the development history, governance structure and internationalization strategy of FISF, and proposed potential directions for future cooperation, including co-creating course content and collaborating on overseas study modules.

Weifeng Xu paid tribute to the pioneering spirit of the Møller Institute and provided a detailed introduction to the features and phase achievements of FISF EE Program. As he suggested, by integrating their respective strengths around themes like “leadership”, “AI digitalization”, “family succession”, “fintech” and “corporate strategy”, both parties should work together in the two directions of public courses and customized corporate programs and contribute to the goals of addressing global talent needs and building an open platform for cross-border exchange. 

This exchange has laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between the two institutions. Building on this momentum, both sides will fully leverage their respective strengths to pursue comprehensive cooperation in areas such as joint program development, talent cultivation and academic research. The goal is to advance the deep integration and innovative development of Eastern and Western business education, and to jointly cultivate global leaders equipped with both international perspectives and China-grounded practice. Together, they will set sail with wisdom, learn from each other through exchange, break new ground through critical thinking, and co-create the business insights that will navigate a new era.
