Eligibility for International Applicants

1.Applicants who are not citizens of China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) at the time of application.
2.Undergraduate students who are expected to graduate in 2020 in any discipline, or holders of a bachelor degree or above.
3.Excellent English proficiency


Decisions will be made based on the following criteria:

How to Apply

Step 1 - Online Application
Applications for the FISF EMF Program must be made electronically by April 30, 2020 via the FISF EMF online application system at: as well as at Fudan University
Application Check‐list:
1) A completed online application form;
2) Degree certificate. Applicants who have not graduated by the time of application are required to provide an official letter from their current university stating the expected graduation date;
3) Official transcript;
4) Personal statement;
5) A most recent Resumes/CV in English;
6) Two reference letters;
7) Photocopy of the information page of your passport;
8) Valid GMAT (Program Code: PS0‐BS‐71) /GRE (DI Code: 4522) score report;
9) Valid TOEFL (DI Code: C450; TOEFL MyBest scores are accepted) or IELTS score report. Native English speakers or applicants who have graduated from English-taught programs can be waived from the language requirement.
Note: If your documents are not in English or Chinese, please have them translated into either English or Chinese by an authorized translation agency. After this please upload both the translated and original documents onto the application system.
Step 2 - Interviews
After a holistic review of the application materials, shortlisted applicants will be invited to interviews. For applicants who are not able to participate in on-site interviews, we will schedule skype interviews. Please note that we make every effort to conduct interviews on weekdays and during business hours.
We also welcome and strongly encourage students to come and experience the EMF program culture during the International Collidoscope Challenge (ICC), where we issue early admission offers to the most outstanding students. The ICC 2020 will be hosted in Shanghai during December 27-30, 2019. You may find details of ICC 2020 here. Chinese Government Scholarship/Shanghai Government Scholarship
Outstanding candidates have the opportunity to be recommended by the EMF program to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship or Shanghai Government Scholarship, which includes up to full tuition (RMB 248,000 for 2 years) waiver, free on‐campus accommodation and a monthly allowance (up to RMB3,000/month). Global Excellence Scholarship
The FISF Elite Master of Finance (EMF) Program is also happy to announce the establishment of Global Excellence Scholarship for international candidates, applying for the 2-year full‐time EMF program for matriculation in fall each year.
The Global Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for first-year students. It is awarded based on applicants' academic and professional achievements, personal accomplishments, interview performance and potential contributions to the EMF program.
