Employment Report of
2025 Elite Master of Finance (EMF)
All the 2025 graduates of Elite Master of Finance (“EMF” for short) of Fudan International School of Finance (“FISF” for short) have honorably graduated. Thanks to the top employees for their appreciation of FISF EMF graduates.
During the job application process, 2025 EMF graduates acted with the times and went with the flow, exceeding their limitations. They met challenges with the power of resilience, and thus successfully handed in a perfect employment record: overall the offers featured “high quality,” “serving national financial strategies”, “internationalization” and “professionalism.” So far, all the 2025 EMF graduates have started their new journey of career life at core positions in domestic and global top financial institutions, Chinese government organs, financial regulatory/trading institutions, and first-class entities/groups in the real economy at home and abroad.
The 2025 EMF graduates have achieved an employment rate of 100% (including 3 pursuing further education and 5 starting their own undertakings): FISF has been sparing no effort in conducting comprehensive cultivation, and successfully brought about the perfect transformation of the 2025 EMF graduates, who have accumulated and benefited from high-quality interns, and striven to pursue their ideal employment goals, receiving 3.5 offers each on average. They also integrated individual growth into national development to make active responses to national development strategies, setting sail in a steady and far-reaching manner on the path towards becoming “high-quality financial talents”!
* Source of the statistical data: FISF Professional Development Center collected the employment conditions of fresh graduates through questionnaires. The data of this report originates from the employment questionnaires filled by 2025 EMF graduates.
By the end of June 2025, a total of 117 students had graduated (including international, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions). Among them, five students started their own undertakings, 3 chose to pursue further education, and other elite masters of finance with job-seeking demands achieved an employment rate of 100%.

2025 EMF graduates undertook the burden of “serving national strategy of reinvigorating China through finance”, and were about to land at financial positions in domestic and global top financial institutions (such as UBS, J.P.Morgan, HSBC, Nexus Point, Pinpoint, CBC Group, CDB Capital, Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment, HonY Capital, China Asset Management, China Universal Asset Management, Taikang Asset, CICC and CITIC International), world leading technology companies (such as Tencent, Meituan, JD.com and Temu), government bureaus and financial regulatory institutions (such as selected graduates in various provinces and municipalities, and State Administration of Foreign Exchange), as well as first-class entities and groups (such as Huawei, Sungrow Power and CATL). These FISFers, with “Excellence, Responsibility, Innovation,” were making active response to the call of the national strategy of “reinvigorating China through finance”, and striving to grow into a new generation of “high-quality financial talents” shouldering the mission of the era!
The internationalization level of the employment of 2025 EMF graduates has continuously been raised, revealing a robust dynamic on the world stage. Of all graduates, 31% achieved internationalized employment (including foreign-capital enterprises, joint ventures and international divisions of Chinese firms), accepting job posts at top global foreign institutions, including UBS** (4 respectively in Quant, Research and IBD Department, Hong Kong, China), HSBC (IBD Department, Hong Kong, China), J.P.Morgan (WM Department, Hong Kong, China), Citi Bank (Corporate Banking Department, Taipei, China), Standard Chartered Bank (Transaction Banking Graduate Trainee), OLP Capital (Canada), NexusPoint (SPIE, Panoramichills Capital; POTUS Capital, Ascendent Investment, and CBC Group; besides, multiple students chose to join international divisions of Chinese financial institutions, such as CICC International (S&T Department, Hong Kong, China); CITIC CLSA (Trading Department, Hong Kong, China); CITIC International (S&T Department, Hong Kong, China); Bank of China Macao (Head Office Graduate Trainee); and ICBC Asia (Graduate Trainee Program of Corporate Banking Department, Hong Kong, China). They gave full play to the advantage of “internationalization” and grasped the opportunities of the times, contributing the “FISF Power” to the construction of “first-class financial institutions in China with international competitiveness, market leadership and a leading role worldwide”!
Primary market private equity/venture capital/strategic investment (20%), public funds/private funds/hedge funds/asset management (18%) are the two employment directions the EMF 2025 graduates were most interested in; besides, 16% were engaged in headquarters and overseas branches of Chinese banks, 12% in Internet/gaming/cross-border e-commerce, 8% in foreign banks, 7% in securities (including foreign-capital enterprises, joint ventures and international divisions of Chinese firms), 5% in government units/regulatory institutions, and an equal 2% in FA, entity enterprises/groups and consulting.
Additionally, there were 5 graduates starting their own undertakings and 3 pursuing further education in institutions of higher education.

The top3 functions are investment management (primary market) (20%), financial market & graduate trainee of head offices of Chinese banks (14%) and buy-side research (secondary market) (12%), along with other core financial functions such as Internet graduate trainee/business analysis/payments/product management/strategy (12%), civil servant/financial regulation (5%), IBD (4%), sell-side research (secondary market) (3%), S&T (3%) and Quant (3%).

From the statistical data of employment regions, over 80% students chose to work in first-tier cities and new first-tier cities in Mainland China, such as Shanghai (44%), Beijing (21%), Shenzhen (7%) and Guangzhou (3%); besides, the 2025 EMF graduates aimed high at other vibrant cities both at home and abroad: nearly 20% ready to initiate their new chapter of career life in regions beyond Mainland China, spreading over Hong Kong China (8%), Macao China (3%), Taipei China and other regions in North America and Asia (like Canada, the US, Malaysia and Japan)!
