Joining Forces to Compose a New Chapter — FISF Annual Work Review Meeting Solemnly Held | Team

On January 30^th 2026, the FISF Annual Work Review Meeting was solemnly held. Faculty and staff gathered together to look back on the achievements of the past year and look ahead to the blueprint for future development.

At the beginning of the meeting, Yuejiang Li, Secretary of FISF Party General Branch, delivered a speech on Party building and the school’s development. He noted that FISF has been committed to leading high-quality development with high-quality Party building, continuously promoting the alignment of Party building efforts with teaching and research, talent cultivation, and social service. Meanwhile, it has actively been exploring mechanisms for university-local government collaboration and university-enterprise collaboration in talent cultivation, expanding platforms for student practice and social services, and uniting development forces through Party building leadership. Furthermore, the school has made significant efforts in undergraduate admissions promotion in Guangdong Province via coordination of internal forces across the school and was honored with the First Prize for Undergraduate Admissions Promotion in 2025.

Subsequently, Jun Qian, Executive Dean of FISF and Professor in Finance, delivered an annual work review and outlook. He reported on the steady progress the new campus and the coordinated multi-site layout, introduced newly achieved milestones in research and think tank capacity, and detailed the renewed dynamism arising from structural optimizations in teaching and training programs. With respect to the priorities for the coming year, Qian affirmed that FISF will continue to measure itself against the standards of world-class financial institutions, deepen applied research and teaching innovation, and seize the occasion of its upcoming tenth anniversary to consolidate the long-term foundation for high-quality development.

The second half of the meeting featured an award ceremony in which the school honored individuals and teams for outstanding performance over the past year. A range of awards were presented, including the “Best Newcomer of the Year”, “Annual Non-degree Brand Program Award”, “Annual Landmark Achievement in Social Impact”, “Best Employee of the Year”, “Best Supervisor of the Year” and “Best Team of the Year”. The professionalism and sense of responsibility exhibited by award-winners in their respective roles—teaching, research, administration, and service—vividly displayed the school’s collaborative and enterprising spirit, as well as its commitment to excellence.

Reviewing the past to guide the future. This annual work review meeting looked back on the fruitful achievements of the past year while also building consensus and momentum for the next year. At the beginning of 2026, depending on the rich academic heritage and contemporary mission of Fudan University, FISF will remain steadfast in its unity, uphold fundamental principles while pursuing innovation, and join hands in composing a new chapter of its development.
