Jun Qian, Executive Dean of Fudan International School of Finance and Professor in Finance, was teaching Chinese Finance Boosting Comprehensive Economic Recovery Under New Incremental Policies. Starting from the current situation macroeconomic and financial situation, he analyzed the trend of China’s CPI and PPI, import and export data as well as the GDP growth rate of major economies around the world, and expounded the “combined-boxing” policies ever since “Sep-24” and corresponding effects. Furthermore, the course also explores the present state of the stock market, bond market and real estate market in China, pointing out that key to expand the stock market and increase efficiency lies in the optimization of listing and delisting processes, and stressing the significance of maintaining a stable banking system.
Yuanrui Gu, Co-director of FISF Capital Tax Research Center, illustrated Personal Income Tax Risk Prevention and Compliance Management for High-income and High Net Worth Individuals. Based on the concepts and trends of tax regulation, Gu probed deep into the three directions of the current tax regulation: administering taxes by law, administering taxes by data, and administering taxes strictly, and emphasized the importance of digital transformation. She interpreted in detail the common tax risks of high-income and high net worth individuals in comprehensive income, business operation income, equity investment, financial product investment and other aspects. She also offered specific suggestions on tax compliance optimization according to practical cases.
Yueying Jiang, Leadership Practice Mentor of FISF and Specially Invited Counselor of CHO Course, gave the class Line of Authority Connecting Personnel, Organization and Business. With specific cases, she led the students far deep into the interaction among personnel, organization and business, attaching importance to being “innovative” and “traditional” in organization development. By analyzing the characters in the film Nezha 2 and the management style of the head of Tesla, she guided the students to have a discussion upon how to effectively coordinate various resources and accurately grasp organizational dynamics in a complex environment to make greater contributions to enterprise development.
Enterprise visits: innovative inspirations from Tesla and GTA Semiconductor
This course specially arranged enterprise visits to two world-leading technological enterprises, Tesla and GTA Semiconductor. In the visit to Tesla, the students had a deep understanding of the “secret aspiration” of Tesla, Reasoning with First Principle of factory manufacturing, the Law of Excellence for innovation management, the enterprise culture and value as well as the five-step work process of Tesla. At GTA Semiconductor, General Manager Hua Zhou introduced the development history of the semiconductor industry and the core technology of GTA Semiconductor, allowing students to get an inside glimpse of the advanced crafts and procedures of chip manufacturing.

What’s more, in the special column of CHO Course, “What Students Say”, Student Wei Weng from Lingang Group and Student Ziquan Tong from Sinopep Pharmaceuticals respectively shared their practical experience in enterprise management and technological innovation.
