At noon on March 7^th 2026, the inaugural episode of “FISF Guanlan Hall” was held at the Fudan International School of Finance. Under the theme “International Women’s Day–Awakening the Power of Her: New Perspectives on Women’s Self-Growth and Parent-Child Relationships”, Lei Zhu, Professor in Accounting at FISF, was invited to share her insights. The Proya Energy Series served as the special supporter for this episode, empowering every woman to radiate inner light and maintain high energy at all times.

Interpreting parent-child relationships from a scholar’s perspective: an empirical sharing on self-growth

From the dual perspectives of a scholar and a mother, Professor Lei Zhu shared her personal experiences and reflections on parent-child relationships. Drawing on her own journey of raising her daughter, she offered honest insights into child education and family life.

Centering on the idea that “children don’t need to be educated in the traditional sense”, Zhu pointed out that when interacting with their children, a parent’s own cognitive adjustments and emotional management are equally important, which aroused deep resonance with the audience.

Following the sharing was the Q&A session. The audience had discussions and exchanges with Lei Zhu upon real-world concerns such as stress management for working mothers, anxiety about children’s academic performance and problems in family relationships, presenting a warm and engaging atmosphere.

This was the inaugural episode of the “FISF Guanlan Hall” Series.
