Wenyun Shi, Associate Professor of Accounting (Teaching Track) at the International School of Finance, Fudan University.


Professor Shi’s research focuses on financial accounting, FinTech, Chinese market and asset pricing. Her research is published in leading academic journals including Accounting Horizons, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting and Journal of Empirical Finance. She has also written media articles, which have been published in Capital Week and forwarded by other mainstream media including Sina finance.


Prior to joining FISF in 2022, Professor Shi was an assistant professor of Accounting at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her teaching evaluation once ranked No.1 in the business school, and she has won a series of teaching awards including Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Best Teaching Award, the 2nd Prize of the School Teaching Contest in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the 2nd Prize of the 5th Shanghai MBA Case Teaching Competition.


Professor Shi received her Ph.D. in Finance from University of Texas at Dallas in 2014, M.S. in Accounting from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, and B.S. in Accounting from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008. She has been an AICPA since 2009, and once selected by Shanghai Pujiang Program.
