Liang
Jiang
Professor Liang Jiang pays special attention to nurturing
students’ problem-solving ability. His curriculum design gives consideration to
both the theoretical knowledge and students’ actual practice in the fields of
finance, economics and statistics. Jiang is also distinguished in arousing
students’ initiatives in class, always starting from presenting factual data
and raising guiding questions so that students can keep reflecting whether the
knowledge the professor has imparted can answer the previous questions,
transferring from passive listening to active absorption.

Qiusha
Peng
Assistant
Professor of Economics and Finance at FISF
Considering
the high requirements of most students for practicality, Professor Qiusha Peng
will lay much emphasis on the cohesive correspondence between theories and
practical work when imparting theoretical analysis. Also, she often selects
industries that students are most interested in as discussion cases, and
applies the assessment mode of valuation analysis operation, enabling students
to accumulate specific operation experience while digesting and understanding
theoretical knowledge.

Professor Liang Jiang is very careful and meticulous in
class. He will patiently explain each question, not leaving a single doubt. He
can also precisely capture our facial expressions, identify and ask students
looking confused or not understanding. By taking his class, I have grown to be
better at asking questions and more active in participating in class. Even the
complex and difficult econometrics seems to be easier in his illustrations.
Professor Liang Jiang is also my thesis advisor. At that time, he always guided
me with patience and care. He would give immediate reply even late at night,
guiding me to solve problems one by one and accomplish the thesis successfully.
I feel sincerely honored to be one of his students. May everything go well with
his work and life.

Each time I recalled the valuation class,
I’m always impressed by the gentle Professor Qiusha Peng. She naturally creates
a vivid and fun atmosphere in her class. The financial knowledge like leaves joined
together as a whole in her heart, and we are like knowledge pursuers traveling
all these vines and branches.

“Give me another 10
minutes!” This is the most common phrase Professor Yongqin Wang mentions each
class. Within limited class time, he showed infinite professional spirit of
devoted knowledge sharing with no reservation. By leading us through the most
cutting-edge academic research in macroeconomics and analyzing the core essence
of the Noble Prize each year in a way we all understand, Professor Wang makes a
thorough investigation on the complicated operation forms of macroeconomic and
financial market in class, inspiring students to carry out discussions and
reflections.
